About our services

Northern Extra offers hire of wedding and event products, including vintage audio guestbook equipment. Specific products, pricing, delivery areas, and availability are confirmed separately when you book.

Enquiries and bookings

Submitting the availability form does not guarantee a booking. A hire agreement is formed only when we confirm your booking in writing (email or other agreed method) and any deposit or payment terms are met.

Hire period and delivery

Hire periods, delivery and collection arrangements, and venue access requirements will be set out in your booking confirmation. You are responsible for providing accurate venue details and ensuring someone is available to receive and return equipment as agreed.

Care of equipment

You agree to use hired items only for their intended purpose, follow any instructions provided, and return them in the condition received (fair wear excepted). You may be liable for loss, damage, or late return as set out in your booking confirmation.

Recordings and content

Audio messages recorded using our guestbook equipment belong to you as the hirer. We will digitise and deliver recordings as agreed. You are responsible for ensuring guests are aware messages are being recorded where required.

Cancellation

Cancellation terms, including any non-refundable deposits, will be provided at the time of booking. If no specific terms are agreed, we will apply reasonable notice periods consistent with the nature of the hire.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from hire or use of our equipment. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law.

Website use

You must not misuse this website (for example, by attempting unauthorised access, introducing malware, or using automated scraping). Content on this site is owned by or licensed to Northern Extra and may not be copied without permission.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, without prejudice to mandatory consumer rights.

Changes

We may update these draft Terms from time to time. Continued use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
